Victorian Style Sapphire Filigree Ring Sterling Silver

The filigree workmanship in this ring is so detailed and it definitely looks like a ring from the 1920's period -- well done. The color of the sterling silver could well pass for 18kt white gold. The bead work around the sapphire is also well done. The sapphire is a bit dark in color but it has a wonderful gleam to it great clarity but I would have preferred a lighter colored sapphire stone. I had the ring resized down by the vendor and he did a great job. I have already received many compliments on this ring and I do wear it with pride. I pair it up with an authentic 1920's platinum sapphire and diamond eternity band and they nestle great together. The one slight negative is that I expected that the top part of the setting would be more substantive. Although the ring has fantastic detail the construction is small. I would highly recommend this ring for those with petite hands and fingers only or else the entire look will be lost on larger fingers.
